Rydier’s Road to Brainerd National Shootout

Aim

Help 15-year-old Division 5 Champion Rydier get to Brainerd to chase the 8-car National Shootout Championship in his JD3 dragster.

Rydier is a 15-year-old junior drag racer from Arvada, Colorado, racing a 2018 Half Scale dragster in JD3. Racing has become more than a hobby for our family — it is something we work for, sacrifice for, and pour our hearts into every weekend.

This season has not been easy. We have had long travel days, tough losses, car issues, and plenty of moments where things did not go our way. But Rydier never gave up. He kept showing up, kept learning, and kept believing in himself.

All of that hard work paid off when Rydier won the Division 5 Championship and earned his spot at Brainerd International Raceway for the 8-car National Shootout Championship.

Now we have the opportunity to represent Arvada, Colorado, Division 5, and everyone who has supported Rydier along the way on a national stage.

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of travel, lodging, fuel, race expenses, parts, and maintenance needed to safely get Rydier, his car, and our team to Brainerd.
