To raise $300 to professionally film and edit Double B’s “Rookie of the Year” music video and artist photos for Double B and Luvey.
I’m Double B, an up-and-coming Latino rapper from the Tampa Bay Area/813. I made and released my first song this month, and since then I’ve been working hard on my next one, “Rookie of the Year.” I make music about my real life, school, basketball, working toward my goals, and the come-up. I don’t rap about guns or drugs — I want my music to actually represent me and the life I’m living.
“Rookie of the Year” is the biggest project I’ve worked on so far. I’m making it with Luvey, and our goal is to create my first official music video. The video will have multiple scenes, including a Grammy/Oscars-style awards ceremony, shots at school, a basketball court, a football field, and other locations that connect directly to the lyrics.
We’re working with Evan Eagle to professionally direct, film, and edit the video. The $300 goal will cover the professional video production, including the awards ceremony scene, the full edit, and professional artist photos for me and Luvey that we can use on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and our artist profiles.
Any additional support can help with things like trophies, props, transportation between locations, wardrobe, and other small production costs that make the video better.

My goal with “Rookie of the Year” is to show how much I’ve grown in a short amount of time and create something that people from my school and the Tampa Bay area can be part of. I only made my first song this month, but I’m taking this seriously and working hard to make the next one even bigger.
