From Seed To Boutique: A Dream in Bloom

To build a unique one of a kind boutique with an attached greenhouse built from a repurposed shipping container equipped with solar panels.
Hi, I’m Kandace, the dreamer behind Wildflower & Fern Co. After more than 10 years in the medical field, I decided to take big risk and quit to start my own small business.
Wildflower & Fern Co. is more than just a shop, it’s a dream in bloom. As a small, woman-owned business, our mission is to create a sustainable boutique that uplifts local artists, supports other small businesses, and nurtures our community.
Our products celebrate the beauty of plants, nature, and handmade artistry. From pressed-floral jewelry and botanical-inspired goods to vintage finds and thoughtfully curated clothing, every piece we carry is rooted in creativity and connection.
I believe that even small seeds of change can grow into something extraordinary. That’s why I’m so excited to create a shop that runs on solar power, houses a greenhouse, is repurposed from an old shipping container and houses a positive, eco-friendly environment that aims to bring back community.
Every dollar brings us closer to opening the doors of our shipping container shop and greenhouse. Your donation will directly support construction, solar installation, and sustainable materials to make this dream a reality (such as plantable seed paper used for tags, business cards, boxes) - no more throwing those clothing tags or unneeded business cards away, instead you will be able to plant it and grow something beautiful - like wildflowers or even veggies. We will also be donating some of our first profits/funds to a local community member in need. Currently, that member will be Sandy Harper - my friend and past coworker, Janella’s mother who has terminal cancer with just weeks to months to live. I will also link her Go Fund Me for people to donate directly to her.
