The Chicago Style Rock N' Roll Tour

Aim

My goal is to raise the funds to pay my musicians, pay travel/ lodging, and hit the pavement putting on the best show possible for you.

I was a child of trauma who sought solace in the music. I worked through my issues just by staying focused on the trial and error that is recording records. I stand for some important things, and ever since I was young I was the one that kept showing up and trying to do the work. I never found the right people though. Even if I had, i lack the resources to be able to keep things sustainable. I have everything but the money now, and I've worked besides you in kitchens, doing road construction, automotive maintenance, warehouses, installing and delivering furniture- I've had a lot of jobs and if they don't push me out due to my dedication to the music, I often hit a ceiling on the amount of positive change I'm able to make. Corporate culture is about as corrupt as politicians.

I'll tell more about my origin story from the stage, because the work I've done in my adult life should speak louder given the trauma I've been through. This isn't a contest of comparison, and I have no desires to do stuff that ain't as honest and real as it gets. That's the real magic of what I do- I live and breathe this.

We are in a cold WWIII and the fighting has always been. full stop. I'm here to remind you that you can make the difference you want to see. The most important thing you need to know about me and this whole shabang: This ain't no joke, or glorified vacation, or vanity project. This is the realest place you can put your money to assist me in touring to provide a living myself and touch more lives than can be done by any mere mortal alone. If you put your money here, it's going toward building charitable organizations later on down the line that I will personally oversee with the upmost conviction to help shape the world into a better place than when I entered it.

- Addiction/ mental health services

-Freedom of Speech and the role of the arts in service to that right

- Fighting the war on homelessness in the USA

-there's many more but the less I say the better for now. point is that I know how I'm gonna be walking.

I don't know what anybody else sees when they look into a crowd of people from a stage, but I see so many stories of life and mistakes and reconciliation, failures and victories that I'd never have enough time in a lifetime to get to know every one of, but you can know mine just through the songs. That is my life's work and if I'm gonna get to the top to raise the bar for what you expect from an artist, I need an army of fans as dedicated to PunkBordello as I am. There's plenty of lore to go around, but ultimately, THIS is where the story should truly begin.

I'm the safest bet you can make, I show up, I do the work, I'm money on the table because I've persisted for years with as healthy a lifestyle I can live for years now.

- for donations of $1-9: I will shout you out on a dedicated weekly live stream on tiktok; make sure you leave a solid name to recognize yourself!

-for donations of $10-20: a shoutout on the weekly tik tok live, once I have raised enough to order physical copies of the record- you will get a signed copy with a personalized note from me. leave your shipping address in whatever notes section you can or send info and screenshot of confirmed donation to [email protected]

-for donations of $21-50: everything listed above as well as a t-shirt as soon as I can have them made

- for donations of $51- 75: everything above but instead of a T-shirt you get a collectible PunkBordello chicago style Jersey (approx retail value $60- what a mf deal! first run limited edition)

-for donations of $76-100: everything above, choice of Jersey or shirt, as well as a punch card for free admission to 2 PunkBordello shows. Valid for life, I'd recommend holding on to it as long as you can whether you use it or not. Bring a plus one or a whole mf squad. one punch each time you show. the more the merrier!

- for donations of $101-150: it's starting to turn into your call! all of the above are available to you, send me an email- tell me what you want. I'll be keeping a spreadsheet of gratitude. all of the above except you get a punch card for 5 shows.

- for donations of $151-200: all of the above except a punch card for 10 shows

-for donations of $201- 250: all of the above (cd/t-shirt AND jersey/ 10 show punch card, 1 copy Chicago Style RN'R on vinyl (as soon as I make enough to get them pressed) signed and personally sent to you by me

-for donations of $250-300: all of the above but I'm adding on a physical copy of your choosing on top of Chicago Style; Pype Dreamz, United States Of Anarchy, Memento Almoris- CD, vinyl, cassette, USB stick, lmk what you want- let's see how we can honor your incredible contribution. a signed drum stick!

-for donations of $301-400: all of the above and a phone call where I'm probably gonna be ugly crying and telling you thank you/ two (three for $351+) physical copies of your choosing whether its Chicago Style RN'R or a different record- talk to me and specify. If you believe in me that hard, I wanna know who you are and say thank you. a broken drum stick signed by me and Brad Herwy (drums)

-for donations of $401-500: all of the above and a shout out from the stage in the city we play closest to you. VIP treatment, when the booking stage comes about I'm not quite sure how it will look in terms of always having a super nice venue, but the whole band would like to tell you thank you and hang out with you before or after the show.

-for donations of $501-999: all of the above and I will route the tour to specifically hit your city and the surrounding areas as well as a VIP lanyard to hang with us for the duration of the Chicago Style Tour, any city you want; no restrictions (with respect to safety and venue policies).

- for donations of $1K: all of the above with a tiktok/ instagram post specifically thanking YOU! better send me (email) your socials!

- for donations of $2k-2,999: all of the above and we will play at your house or at the place closest to your house. With respect to how this may play out over time, as long as we're still 12 weeks out from hitting the road, we'll add a song to the set list for you.

**I will publicly disclose the budget weekly as a general commitment upon the first pledge for you to see how the money is being spent so you can check in. It may stay stuck for a bit but I will make it a goal to rollover all funds into the next campaign; if you see this and it's about to time out, I'm just going to start a new one and roll everything over til the goal is reached or until I have enough to get things started.**

the plan is a 3 leg National US tour spanning a full years time. Each leg of tour will have approx 50 (+/-) show dates.

How these funds will be used/ the plan:

-filing supporting legal documentation to operate and employ

-paying for a work space to organize and work forward daily (my rent/ studio/ office space- whatever you wanna call it)

-buying a decent transport (this will never exceed a Class C RV but a decent workhorse Van will do- it will affect lodging costs, however)

-paying the people that this project cannot advance forward without STARTING with the musicians. The CORE components of what makes this work cannot be worried about whether they're gonna eat after doing intense and hard work that only a dedicated few can do. nothing crazy, just enough not to worry about stuff besides the work. Myself (guitar/vocals), bassist, drummer, and a dedicated Sound guy we keep on the road with us each will get an honest $50k for the year. We work for this stuff, we're not after a leer jet but to have a family would be nice.

-merch: well if you dropped money I assume you want the cool stuff you paid for lol

-I'm aiming for the dates dedicated to high donors to be free to everybody in their neck of the woods, so I'd like to keep support acts to a minimum and rent out the venue in question for the night as often as budget allows.

-marketing: well we're trying to make money ain't we? don't people need to hear about it?

- Upgrading the tools that are absolutely necessary to keep setbacks to the absolute minimum: not a million guitars, but maybe a laptop that doesn't crash when I try to edit any video at all, maybe something a little newer than 2013 maybe? Maybe some cables that aren't cutting in and out? Maybe an amp that I don't have to cross my fingers will turn on when I go to perform? maybe? Yeah that's where I'm at right no man, this is not fun or glam. poverty is in my way.

-lodging: the toll this takes depends on if things start with a van as I anticipate, nothing too lavish or crazy though, we're on a budget here.

-groceries: we're keepin a mini fridge and making sandwiches. We're not interested in throwing money away by eating out all the time. There's a job to do and living within the margins for success are important to building a sustainable business model.

-an emergency fund for unexpected variables: absolutely necessary. I've worked on cars long enough to know I'm gonna usually be the one fixing it to get to the venue. Knowing you have enough to buy the part ASAP will be one less thing to worry over. Stuff happens. I need to take care of my team.
