Just Right Press Publishing Contributor Fund

Just Right Press is inviting artists to participate in published zines. All funds raised here go toward paying them for their contributions.

A little over a year ago in May 2025 I purchased a Risograph printer and turned my home office into a mini self-publishing studio. This marked the start of Just Right Press! My activity has primarily been print on demand work for other artists, and producing my own zines and prints as well.

I've been wanting to get some publishing projects off the ground beyond my own personal work and client zines, but in order for me to initiate these exciting ideas I've had swirling around in my mind, I want to make sure I can pay my contributors!

I am excited to share that Just Right Press' first group anthology project is already in motion. You can learn more about this zine project, titled Trailcam Studies. I will be inviting other artists to participate in it as well as making an open call. I am able to comfortably budget for materials and print costs, so 100% of the funds raised here will support paying contributing artists and mailing them their contributor copies of the printed work.

Goals for this first project:

   -Raise $825 or more to pay 20+ participating artists

   -$625 of this will go towards paying artists for their submitted zine contributions upfront with each artist receiving $25

   -$200 for shipping costs to mail artists their contributor zine copies 

If more than $825 is made, I will either invite more artists to participate in this first zine or put those funds towards paying contributors for the next project!
