Aim

We are seeking for funds to open an independent bookstore that inspire and feels part of the community in Coppell Texas.

Cardinal Books was born from a simple idea: people still long for meaningful places. Places where families gather, children discover stories, neighbors connect, and culture feels alive.

In a world that moves increasingly fast and digital, Cardinal Books aims to bring back the experience of slowing down — holding a book in your hands, enjoying a cup of coffee, and feeling part of a community.

We envision a cozy independent bookstore that blends literature, café culture, and bilingual community programming. A space where children come for Saturday storytime, where local readers discover new authors, where Spanish and English literature coexist naturally, and where people feel inspired to stay, not just shop.

Cardinal Books is more than retail. It is a cultural and community space designed to create connection. Our mission is to foster literacy, belonging, creativity, and conversation across generations.

The name ‘Cardinal’ symbolizes warmth, hope, and home — values that reflect exactly what we want this bookstore to become for the community.

We believe independent bookstores still matter deeply because people are not only searching for products; they are searching for experiences, identity, and connection. Cardinal Books intends to become that special place people remember, return to, and share with others.

The funds raised for Cardinal Books will support the creation of a warm and community place. Inicial funds will be used 

• Custom bookshelves and displays
• Comfortable seating
• Inicial Inventory in English and in Spanish.
