Briar - Keeper of the Veil

Aim

We're looking for $1000 to produce the film.

Nineteen-year-old Briar Thistledown has always dreamed of escaping the hidden rabbit warren beneath Meridian City and discovering the world beyond it. But when her mother, Bramble, mysteriously disappears, Briar discovers a family secret that has been protected for generations: her family are Wardens, sworn to guard an ancient evil imprisoned beneath a massive oak tree. Left with her mother's magical Warden's Knot, Briar becomes the next Keeper of the Veil. With the help of her clever younger brother Hazel, the theatrical crow Corvus, the mysterious old badger Thistle, and Vesper, a streetwise fox who trusts no one, Briar must journey through the hidden animal world beneath the city to uncover what happened to her mother. Their search awakens the Hollow King, an ancient supernatural force that feeds on fear, isolation, and despair. As the creature's influence spreads, Briar learns that defeating it will require more than courage. She must confront her own fear of being trapped by a destiny she never chose. When the Hollow King offers Briar freedom in exchange for abandoning the Warden's legacy, she discovers the true meaning of responsibility: it isn't a burden forced upon you—it is something you choose for the people you love. In a final battle beneath the ancient oak, Briar refuses to stand alone. She unites the creatures of Meridian City and discovers that the strength of the Wardens was never meant to belong to one guardian. To save her mother, protect her home, and seal the Hollow King away, Briar must finally stop running from her destiny—and become the Keeper she was born to be.
