A New Beginning & Brighter Future

Aim

Assistance in raising funds to pay for school required tools and supplies to begin my journey as a student in 2027 Spring semester at TCAT.

I am writing to humbly ask for support as I work to rebuild my life and secure a stable future.

Recently, unexpected hardships left me facing homelessness. I exhausted all of my financial resources to secure safe and stable housing, which drained my safety net and left me struggling to afford basic daily necessities. Because of this housing crisis back in July, I missed the deadline for the fall semester and had to postpone my educational plans.

Despite these setbacks, I remain determined and optimistic. I applied and was accepted into the HVAC program at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT), and I am officially scheduled to begin classes in January 2027.

To start the term on time and succeed in my training, I am required to purchase specialized trade supplies out-of-pocket, specifically my HVAC tool kit. Because my savings were completely depleted securing shelter, and because financial aid does not stretch to cover both the cost of living and these mandatory program materials, I have no funds to bridge the gap. Juggling the stress of basic daily survival while trying to obtain necessary trade equipment has been overwhelming and threatens to pull focus from my studies.

Any contribution will go directly toward purchasing my required HVAC kit, covering essential school costs outside of financial aid, and providing the stability I need to attend class every day prepared to learn.

Your generosity will allow me to focus fully on my education, earn my certification, and launch a sustainable career. This support will truly change the trajectory of my life—a blessing I fully intend to pay forward once I am on my feet. Thank you for believing in my future and helping me take this critical step.
