After You Pledge

You’ve pledged to a project – thank you! Here’s what happens next and how you can stay informed, connected, and in control of your support.

  • If the project is successful, your pledge will be sent to the project owner.
  • If the project is unsuccessful, your payment will be automatically refunded within 7 working days.

You can always view your pledge details in your Crowdfunder account under ‘My Pledges’.

Not receiving emails? Please check your junk/spam folder. If you still can’t find them, contact our support team.

What Information Does the Project Creator See?

When you pledge, the project creator can see:

  • Your Crowdfunder profile name
  • Your pledge amount
  • The email address linked to your account

Depending on the funding type:

  • Flexible Funding Projects: Creators can view your details as soon as you pledge.
  • All or Nothing Projects: Creators only gain access to your details after a successful campaign.

How Can I Contact a Project Owner?

If you have a question or want to reach out to a project creator:

  1. Visit the project page
  2. Click on the ‘Contact project’ tab
  3. Sign into your Crowdfunder account (or create one if you used Guest Checkout)
  4. Fill in:
    • Your name
    • A brief subject
    • Your message
  5. Click ‘Send message’

Your message will be sent directly to the project owner via email.

Tip

This is the best way to ask about updates, or anything specific to the project.
