In the heart of our community, Mitchell Parks & Recreation has always believed that parks are more than just places to play – they are places where memories are made for families and friends!
For families of children with physical, sensory, or developmental challenges, traditional playgrounds can create barriers instead of opportunities. Equipment may be difficult to access or surfaces may limit mobility. We believe every child deserves a place to play — together.
Our vision is to build an inclusive playground where children of all abilities can laugh, explore, and play. An inclusive playground is not just about accessibility. It sends an important message that every member of our community matters.
