Help Twins Vintage expand into a community focused vintage and thrift space with affordable finds and free clothing support programs.

Twins Vintage was created by two best friends with a shared love for vintage fashion, thrifting, and the stories behind secondhand items. What started as a hobby of sourcing vintage pieces, selling online, and spending weekends thrifting together turned into a real business after we decided to take a leap of faith and open our own space in Winston-Salem. As a Latina owned small business, we wanted to create something that felt welcoming, affordable, community driven, and different from the increasingly expensive vintage scene.

Our shop combines curated vintage from the 1950s through Y2K with an affordable thrift section so people can still experience the thrill of thrifting without high price tags. We believe fashion and self expression should be accessible to everyone, regardless of income, size, gender identity, or background. Sustainability is also a huge part of our mission. We source secondhand clothing and household goods to help reduce textile waste and keep usable items out of landfills.

As we grow, our bigger vision is to expand into a larger space that allows us to give back to the community in a bigger way. Our goal is to use donated clothing and household items to support asylum seekers, immigrant families, people leaving domestic violence situations, and families rebuilding after difficult circumstances. We also hope to host community events like affordable prom dress sales, fill a bag events, swaps, and donation drives.

The funds raised will help us move into a larger storefront and cover essential expansion costs including rent, fixtures, clothing racks, inventory storage, signage, professional tools like a label printer, and improvements that will make the space more functional and welcoming. This expansion would allow us to grow Twins Vintage into not just a store, but a true community centered space.
