Let’s Get Baxter & Connor More Training

Aim
Two pups needing some advanced training in order to find their forever homes!
Baxter entered Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue in August 2025. He is a very sweet dog, but he shows strong cattle dog herding instincts and attempts to herd his surroundings. He has mastered his basic training and now needs advanced training to help him control these impulses.
Connor entered the rescue in January 2025. He has been adopted twice and returned both times due to stranger danger behaviors and resource guarding. Connor is very sweet once he trusts someone, but he can be reactive toward unfamiliar people attempting to pet him. He also has a strong foundation in basic training and is highly food motivated.
Funds raised will go directly toward advanced training for both dogs so they can become safe, highly adoptable, event-ready dogs. Until they complete training and are cleared, they will not attend events. Both dogs deserve a permanent home, and as a volunteer, my goal is to give them that opportunity. Any additional funds raised will be used to help provide training for other dogs in need so they can also become adoptable.
