In need of emergency help

Me and my children are in need of emergency help to get a safe place to live before the winter. In a very bad situation right now.

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Ashley, and my kids and I are in desperate need of help. We are being displaced in a few weeks and will have nowhere to go. I have some health issues that sometimes keep me from working. I have gastroparesis and am being tested for stomach cancer. I work Grubhub and DoorDash mostly because trying to hold a regular job with my health is just not possible right now. I missed work due to my health and was so sick for a few weeks. Also, my car needed some repairs that took most of what I had saved up. Had I not fixed my car, I wouldn't have been able to work at all, so that had to be done. In that time, I was not able to make anything. I've been trying to sell things to come up with some extra money as well, but I just don't have that much I can get rid of as is.

I am trying to move my kiddos into a safer place. As of right now, the place we are staying has no heat for winter, We are using a fireplace i got and the few space heaters i have. And the person we are living with is very, very abusive emotionally and mentally. I lost my son in 2016 to suicide on Mother's Day. This last Mother's Day, I was told to kill myself, which I would not do. This is just an example of the things I/we go through, so I'm really trying to get my kiddos and me away from here. In a few weeks, we will not have a place to live as the person we are residing with did not pay the rent. I have some saved up, just not enough to fully get into a place. I also fear if i have to get a motel it will take everything i have saved up and won't be able to get into a place and be stuck paying them weekly and just won't be able to get out of that situation so I'm trying to get into a low income apartment. I am also going to be applying for disability per my doctor's recommendation, but as you know, that can take a while.

We are in desperate need to get away from the situation we are in now. I work every day when I can and my health allows. I am currently awaiting a scope of my stomach along with a colonoscopy for further testing. I am a hard worker when I can work, but right now, what I can do just isn't enough for the short time I have. I'm a desperate momma who doesn't like to ask for help, but in these desperate times, I feel I have no choice and am hoping that I can find the kindness in people and get the help we need. I will be grateful for anything anyone can give. We need a miracle right now. I just want to make sure my kids have a safe and warm place to live away from the situation we are in now. I've prayed every night for just a way out and a little bit of help. If you could find it in your heart to help, I would really appreciate it so much.
