Mr. Smajlovi? has 9 years of experience in the beverage industry with a focus on quality control and the authenticity of wine, hard liquor, beer and fruit juice. Mr. Smajlovi? is the developer of the EIM-IRMS method and holds number of patents in the field. Mr. Smajlovi? is Graduated Engineer (Dipl. ing.) in Food Technology of Food Products from the University of Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. Mr. Smajlovi? was involved in two-years long EU twinning project Capacity Building for the Regulation of the Serbian wine Sector as a member of expert group (laboratories) which was agreed upon by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, as representatives of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, as a representative of Spain, which was compared by the Regional Ministry for Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development from government of La Rioja. Mr. Smajlovi? is a licensed and recognized as specialized expert for isotopic analysis of wine and alcoholic beverages with possibility to give expert opinions on the subject by the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management for wine testing and also added to the national list of wine sensory assessors which is a part of Serbian regulation.
