Over 35 Years of CEO and start-up skills including acquisitions, capital formation and public market transitions. Prior to founding AVACEN Medical in 2009, Mr. Muehlbauer started SportsCom Broadcasting, an Internet company, which was sold to publicly traded Global Sports and Entertainment bringing a return to founding investors of over 180% in 2 years. Before that as a hands-on investor and Executive Vice President, he engineered the start-up, growth and sale of World View, International, providing multi-million dollar returns to shareholders in less than a three-year period. During his 4 years as President and CEO of First Alliance Software and Technologies he engineered the sale of a major software line to Four Phase Systems in the UK and acquired Intel Corporations Mainframe Solid State Disk business and $30 million in inventory. Mr. Muehlbauer developed his expertise in corporate management working for major corporations such as J.C. Penny, Kimberly Clark Corporation and Corning Glass Works. Management positions ranged from Systems Software Manager to Worldwide Data Center Manager. He has also served as President and CEO for three mid-sized corporations – First Alliance Corporation; International Software Systems and Gulf States Computer Systems. For the last 9 years he has served as a volunteer Board member and Treasurer for Community Alliances for Drug Free Youth (CADFY). He holds a Bachelor of Science, University State of New York.
