USRG is among the largest, pure play private equity firms in the US focused on investing in renewable power, fuels and clean technology infrastructure companies. It has invested over $800 million in 23 investments since its inception in 2003. As an Associate on the investment staff within the private equity funds, my work is focused on portfolio companies and new deal origination. I advance deal sourcing efforts by collaborating with professionals in the renewable energy, waste, fuels, venture capital, private equity, project finance, consulting and electric power industries. My work at USRG was initially focused on credit structuring and origination. The $1 billion program will install 360 MW on 124 U.S. military barracks in a first-of-its-kind financing that will double U.S. residential rooftop solar capacity. USRG partnered with Bank of America Merrill Lynch to provide the financing. The transaction closed in late 2011.
