1 IPO + 2 EXITS Thomas Schneider is an investor in startups since he was 17. His most recent exit was as founder and CEO of Schneider Power Inc. where he developed a $2.3 billion dollar (3,000+ MW) portfolio of renewable power generation facilities. Thomas founded a Montreal based record label while attending McGill University's Desautel School of Management. After earning a bachelor's degree in Finance and International Business, his record label led him to become Director of New Media for an AOL Time Warner affiliate, where he helped code the first streaming flash radio player on the Internet using Digital Rights Management. In 2001 he launched Line Entertainment Holdings Inc. Line became one of the largest Internet and street marketing firms in North America that catered to clients such as the Virgin Group, Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and L.V.M.H. Thomas sold Line in November, 2003. Thomas founded venture-backed Schneider Power on April 14th, 2004. The company's rapid growth made it one of the leading independent renewable energy power developers in North America, the Caribbean and a licensed electricity generator. Schneider Power went public on the Toronto Venture Exchange (TSXV:SNE) in September of 2008 and was eventually sold to Irvine, California based Quantum Technologies (NASDAQ:QTWW) in April 2010 in a multi-million dollar transaction. Thomas holds a B.Comm. in Finance and International Business from McGill University, Montreal, as well as a certificate in Business Law from the University of Toronto. He holds advanced level certificates in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from the University of London, England and is a self taught Internet wiz and coder.
