Baby Life Seat, first PFD Infant car seat safe on boats, planes and in cars.
We have developed a working prototype of the first infant cross travel industry safety seat and, with U.S. Coast Guard participation, tested it at UL. It passed all preliminary tests for certification as a car seat/PFD and we secured 3 patents to cover the technology. We need funding to complete a feasibility study on our finished prototype including hazard testing/engineering for NHTSA, FAA, USCG standards. Post development, we will pursue commercialization via manufacturing or licensing.
Search America thrived for 29 years and I take great pride in the companies I helped and the people I worked with. It was really never work. Now I am full time at raising the funding to build the first life saving device for babies, the Baby Life Seat, www.babylifeseat.com. I'm excited about this and have identified the professionals to finish the engineering, build the company and take it to market.
Babies under 2 years old, the most vulnerable segment of our population, travel on boats and planes with no effective access to safety protection. Existing laws for Marine and Aviation travel require flotation devices for every passenger. None exist for babies. Car seats are effective only in automobiles. The BLS is a new technology that will improve travel safety for infants. The new PFD infant carrier delivers safety in the form of familiar car seat design. A built-in GPS chip will provide cell phone/Bluetooth/computer location tracking through apps in development. This provides an additional layer of protection; fulfilling government travel authorities’ mandate to provide passengers, including babies, with safety products in every transportation mode; allowing parents/guardians to geo-track their baby when in the care of others; and giving automotive car seat companies a new product to establish and maintain market share in multiple travel markets.
