Gary Surdam is an educator, entrepreneur, businessman and visionary whose unique career experience has made him one of America’s top leaders in educational consulting. Surdam has recently brought his expertise to China with an overwhelming response. Teachers and leaders have benefited by the knowledge shared by Surdam. Gary Surdam’s innovations have united business and education to make academic success a reality for students, teachers and administrators throughout China. He continues to share this vision, providing access to the heart of education and helping other people reach their potential in academics and in life. As a professor of Education at Hope International University, Surdam spent two years on research and development to create a program that has been proven to change lives in both China and America. Gary along with Kenny Liang casted the vision of bringing hope to international students which is now the foundation of Bright Start International Education.
Created and implemented curriculum to introduce future teachers to the Chinese Culture. Students are given the opportunity to experience China first hand with a two week trip to China where students teach a STEAM Camp to English speaking Middle School Students
Most recently, we signed an agreement with the International Youth Education Association (IYEA), out of Beijing, to provide Professional Development and other services in China. Formed partnership with the University of Tennessee to provide Family Literacy workshops to military families stationed at Fort Campbell and developed a Summer Literacy Camp for the families in the Knoxville area Obtained certification as an official Government Contractor
