I am a generalist, a visionary, a thinker, a seeker... adaptable and ever evolving. My latest interests lie in intuitive decision making, intentional environments, and minimalism (simple living) as a path to increased freedom and happiness. Together with an amazing team, I am working on CompostNow - a company dedicated to its mission of making every community compostable. I am Co-Founder and CEO.
A community of Builders.
We are on a mission to create a world where all food scraps are turned into compost that is then used to grow local, fresh food for each and every community. I drive the vision and organizational structure. As a company, we provide urban composting services. We'll pick up your food scraps once a week & leave you with a clean bin. We currently operate in 2 territories (8 cities); serving homes, offices, cafes & restaurants.
I assist and learn.
Shoes with a mission. Every purchase through SisterSteps helps a woman and her family create a better life. 100% of our profits go towards providing microloans for women in poverty. Our mission is to connect successful, passionate women with less fortunate hard-working women who desperately wish for a chance to build a better life. When you shop online through SisterSteps, you are doing so much more than just getting a new pair of shoes.
I worked with customers to ensure routes were properly defined and scheduled and all data was accurately created, stored, and displayed. I enjoyed working with TransLoc because it gave me the opportunity to develop new and existing skills (MySQL, various shortcuts, process improvement, and customer interaction), design personal-accountability habits, and observe the workings of a cool company with great potential. It was also nice to be in an environment with creative and driven people who enjoy sharing ideas and experiences.
