A Stanford graduate with a degree in economics, Dan has always had a passion and a skill at understanding large scale systems, and the rules that make them work. He parlayed that skill into a successful trading career, first at Merrill Lynch, then at a small boutique firm, then independently for himself, and in managing a hedge fund he co-created. Leaving finance to pursue opportunities that he found more challenging and exciting, Dan began working on a number of online ideas until he and Mike met and launched what was to become Content BLVD.

From 2007 until 2010, I was co-owner of Aeon Capital, a hedge fund management firm. Our first fund, Continuum Partners LP employed a rule based investment methodology on stocks, currencies and commodities. The overarching philosophy was that extended trends will continue to happen in financial markets around the world. We created an investment designed to benefit from those occurences. Our investors weathered the financial crises of 2008 with significantly less risk than a traditional equity investment.
