Additionally, she has consulted with dot429, See Jane Run, Current Motor Company, Anheuser-Busch, USMP, the Game Show Network, Suzanne Westenhoefer, and green builders CMW Architects, McCutcheon Construction and Live Oak Estates. A bookworm at heart, Shannon earned her masters degree in literature at California State University, Fresno (go Bulldogs), where she had the extreme pleasure of working with renowned lesbian historian and author Lillian Faderman on "Chloe Plus Olivia," an anthology of lesbian literature. Shes an enthusiastic supporter of the National Center for Lesbian Rights, Equality California, the Galapagos Conservancy, the Humane Society, Sports for Kids, Sierra Mono Indian Museum, Save the Children, Human Rights Campaign and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. She serves on the board of the San Francisco LGBT Center. Shannon lives with her partner Anne, their two sons, sweet dog Reggie and obnoxious cat Ricky in Noe Valley (the sunny part of San Francisco).
