Ken Bretschneider is a true entrepreneur. Having experience and passion for the arts, he founded two startups in his early 20s, which ranged from video game to web production and development. After gaining almost a decade of experience, specifically in technology, Mr. Bretschneider founded DigiCert in early 2003. DigiCert has since grown to become the world’s largest issuers of digital certificates using Secure Socket Layer technology after acquiring Symantec's PKI business for almost $1 Billion. In 2012 Ken sold DigiCert and created a family office (KPB Equities) to develop and invest in a variety of business opportunities with a emphasis in technology, entertainment and development. Some of the more notable ventures that Ken has invested in and founded are; THE VOID, LINK, Wicket, Protocol, The One Up, Thrive Nursery, Half Circle Ranch and more.
