Childbearing is one of the world's greatest mysteries. Imagine a life growing inside a woman's womb. Carrying a fetus for nine months is not the easiest thing in the world. You can feel excruciating pain before, during, and even after delivery. Changes take place physically and emotionally. Week after week, changes take place inside her body, changes that not even the most sophisticated GE ultrasound equipment can follow. Things develop during the different pregnancy stages.
Generally, the stages of pregnancy are categorized into three; the first, second and third tri-semesters where the major changes and developments take place every third month. At this point, you might want to start choosing a doctor to see you through your pregnancy.
The first three months of your pregnancy is the first tri-semester. (Week 1-13)
If you have passed one of the most critical pregnancy stages, the next tri-semesters would already be a bit easier except for the more weight you have to carry with you as the baby inside you grows. By now, your goal is how to choose a doctor who will help you give birth, keeping in mind that this one is different from your gynecologist.
