RGD Consulting Engineers provides a wide range of innovative engineering design services. At RGD we use our engineering expertise in the design of commerical buildings structural, mechanical (HVAC), electrical and plumbing systems that meet owners expectations within the requirements of an increasingly complex operating environment. We have been providing engineering solutions in Florida and nationwide for over 35 years.
In 2009 Nate took over the Director of Operations position at RGD. He oversees all areas including marketing, day to day operations, client relations, project budgeting and pricing along with on-site analysis. Nate is the go to guy for RGD Consulting Engineers. His other responsibilities include: Implementing strategic initiatives with an emphasis on continuous improvement. Providing IT support to ensure seamless operations. Overseeing business development including marketing and building client relationships. Making informed decisions regarding project budgeting and pricing. Managing the Operations Team to ensure that customer expectations and goals are achieved. Developing and managing day-to-day policies and procedures. Collaborating with department teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Developing and managing short term and long term company goals
Extensive experience as head Naval Aircraft Liaison to the Joint Inter-Agency Task Force South, a 17-county civil/military organization tasked with Latin American drug interdiction. Sole military representative to military contractors with unit, overseeing a complex budget exceeding $600K per year. One of five authorized Advanced Tactics Instructors for the S-3B Viking. Appointed model manager for aircraft type, responsible for over 400 aviators as the lead safety aviator. One of two fleet aviators qualified to train new replacement fleet aviators. Designated as the lead unit member for the Naval Test Pilot School that developed new counter insurgency and IED airborne systems to help protect multinational troops.
Member of a 300 person squadron deployed on the USS Theodore Roosevelt for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Flew missions in support of combat operations on opening night for Iraqi Freedom and throughout the duration of the Allied offensive. Completed 22 combat missions
Worked under the Commanding Officer to coordinate battleground combat flight operations with the battle group commander for the entire squadron, which consisted of over 20 flight hours per day. Managed squadron readiness and combat proficiency program. Planned and managed a $4M budget for squadron flight operations. As a Maintenance Division Officer, led and trained a division of 40 sailors and Chief Petty Officers tasked with electronic maintenance. Managed a repair and performance program for all squadron TOP SECRET avionics.
