David is a social entrepreneur and digital health innovator focused on consumer health data and behavior. He is Founder & CEO of Care3, his third digital health venture. Care3 digitizes, sequences, and distributes care plans for families and professionals over its secure mobile messaging platform. Prior to Care3, David was Co-Founder and CEO of InvolveCare, a task crowdsourcing mobile platform focused on family caregivers funded by Aetna's incubator, Healthagen. Prior to InvolveCare, David was the founding Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Business Development at another winning venture, PatientsLikeMe, the world's first consumer health data crowdsourcing online community. David earned his B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA with emphasis in Digital Strategy and a certificate in Corporate Governance from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management. David currently serves as a member of the Board of Advisors for the Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at UCLA and is a member of the 2013 class of Henry Crown Fellows with the Aspen Institute.
The Harold and Pauline Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, a recognized leader in entrepreneurial education and research, oversees all teaching, research, extracurricular, and community activities related to entrepreneurship at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Working closely with its Board of Advisors, the Price Center's goal is to provide a set of academic and extracurricular experiences that advance both the theory and practice of entrepreneurship. David has mentored hundreds of UCLA student entrepreneurs helping with business planning, pitch production, and team-building as part of his role on the Board of Advisors
