I'm a generalist when it comes to architecture. Projects have ranged from tenant improvement in a commercial space, to a kitchen and dining room renovation, and most recently, a landscape concept for a 1.5 acre courtyard at a hotel. The more notable projects include: a 4,800sf office space (BLANKSPACES, Los Angeles, CA); 5,000 sf restaurant (District, Hollywood, CA; same owner as The Bowery); 3,000 sf hotel lobby (Shelter, Koreatown, Los Angeles, CA); 400+ sf kitchen/dining room (Pleasanton, CA). The 'design'/'consulting' side of my practice typically encompasses graphic and website design for start-up and storefront online presence.
I taught AutoCAD to landscape architecture students.
I teach various interior design classes, including studio, CAD, etc.
I taught a materials/structures course for 3rd year students: Technologies + Ecologies III
We design modern single- and multi-family residential projects in SoCal.
CWA is best known for designing the HQ space for Chiat/Day TBWA in Playa Vista (Los Angeles). This year, a lot of press has covered the HQ space for Google.com, in Mountain View (San Francisco), which we finished some 2 years ago. I worked on a new, 20-story mid-rise tower in downtown L.A. for FIDM, near Staples Center; 3-unit 6,000 sf condo building in West Hollywood.
I managed construction of totally modern and tricked out residential and tenant-improvement commerical projects...the kinds that are regularly published.
I helped design trendy restaurants for tenant improvement projects. We're most recently known for designing Lucky Strike bowling lanes in several cities across the North America. Other projects include Spago (Beverly Hills, CA), Nobu (Malibu, CA), Lemon Moon (L.A.), and The Daily Grill (various).
Helped to design thru Design Development the new U.S. Embassy in Berlin (near the Brandenburg Gates, and next to Frank Gehry's Deutsche Bank); thru 100% Schematics of two new Natural Science Facilities at St. Edward's University, in Austin, TX.
