Company Overview

Indoor Air Quality impacts the overall health of the world’s population!

According to World Health Organization, indoor air pollution is responsible for 1.6 million pre-mature deaths annually. With most Americans spending 90%+ of their time indoors, it is imperative that technological advances be made to improve indoor air quality. Current air filtration technology methods do not address small airborne particles/pathogens, which are responsible for most acute and chronic illnesses. In fact, these small particles tend to travel deep into lungs and brain.

In the United States, our healthcare system has migrated, for the better, from a volume-based system to a value-based system, wherein, emphasis is focused on improving clinical outcomes, increasing patient satisfaction and lowering the cost of care. Consequently, we are seeing a reduction in the incidences and costs for hypertension, heart disease and cancer. However, morbidity and mortality associated with pulmonary disorders have not declined, rather, they are on the rise. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that more than 1.7 million patients annually acquire an infection while hospitalized in the U.S. for other health problems. The effort to treat those infected adds over $40+ billion to healthcare costs every year. Currently, almost all hospitals (over 5,800) in the United States are in need of a high-efficiency “Active” air filtration system that captures and inactivates harmful airborne pathogens.

To address this critical problem, SecureAire has developed and patented an innovative and disruptive electrically enhanced system, now known as ACTIVE Particle Control TechnologyTM. ACTIVE Particle Control is an air purification process that controls the transport of airborne pathogens and contaminants. The design of air purification systems utilizing this technology will not only increase the overall quality of indoor air but also prevent the spread of disease while also reducing energy costs.

SecureAire is looking to raise the funds required to rapidly deploy ACTIVE Particle Control Technology for hospitals and healthcare providers. Our technology will remove all airborne pathogens, including bacteria and viruses, considered responsible for diseases of the lung and brain, in addition to being one of the leading contributors of hospital-acquired infections. In addition to healthcare markets, SecureAire’s ACTIVE Particle Control will improve overall indoor air quality in commercial, industrial and residential markets as well.

To this end, SecureAire has assembled a seasoned management team with extensive experience in air filtration technologies, clinicians with experience in hospital quality, and experts in delivering solutions to the HVAC marketplace. Independent testing has demonstrated our technical capabilities in a live hospital operating room. (Figure 1).

Our approach is innovative and disruptive, as we propose to change the paradigm of indoor air quality standards and implement solutions that are beneficial to patients and healthcare providers in hospitals.Successful deployment of our technology will result in the improvement of human health through the lowering of Hospital Acquired Infection Rates and disease prevention thereby lowering the overall economic burden due to indoor air pollution.

Investment Summary

SecureAire is an early stage venture company with patent-protected technology that will radically change the way air is filtered in hospitals, office buildings, and millions of homes around the world.

The implications for saving lives by reducing hospital acquired infection alone are immense.

The company has steadily increased revenue for the past five years and is on track to achieve over $1,500,000 in sales in 2018. Anticipated revenues for 2019 are over $5,500,000.

The company is currently raising $1,500,000 in a limited 506(c) SAFE offering from select investors.

The likely investor exit will be an acquisition by a major player in the air filtration or HVAC space based on severely limited innovation in this sector and the attractiveness of the breakthrough SecureAire technology.

"“SecureAire has a powerful technology that will change the way people think about Air Purification and Filtration solutions in Healthcare. Having the ability to both Capture and Inactivate Airborne Pathogens is a critical step in helping to reduce infection rates in the critical care environments of a Hospital.”"

"“Now granted, our infection rate was extremely low prior to that time (installing SecureAire technology), but I don’t think you can beat zero. I don’t know how long we’ll be able to continue this perfect record, but suffice to say the doctors, the nurses involved with the Surgery Center and the owners of the Surgery Center, are extremely pleased with our track record and I want to thank you.”"

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I care about air pollution?

Air pollution has been linked to a number of aliments including Atherosclerosis, Alzheimer’s, Certain Cancers, Dementia, Declining Cognitive Brain Function, Hospital Acquired Infections and numerous respiratory conditions including allergies and COPD.

Is the air quality better inside of my home/office?

Research at the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proven that the air quality in your home or office can be up to 5-10X more toxic than the outside air around your home. The cause of this difference can be linked to a number of items within your home including building materials, furniture, carpets, cleaning products, pets and of course humans.

Doesn’t my air filter remove all of the contaminants from the air in my home?

Most mechanically based air filter devices are passive in nature and can only remove the airborne contaminants that reach it. The main problem with most if not all air filters is that the small contaminants, which are typically less than 3 microns in size, never get to the filter for capture. Of course, when you consider that airborne contaminants that are less than 3 microns in size include viruses, mold, bacteria, TVOC’s, odors and dissolved gases like CO and CO2, you understand why there should be concern.

What is ACTIVE Particle Control? Why is SecureAire different?

ACTIVE Particle Control is what sets SecureAire apart from every other technology available in today’s air filtration and purification industry. When a system is ACTIVE it has the ability to remove harmful airborne contaminants from the treated space. There are very few, if any, technologies that have the ability to ACTIVELY remove contaminants from the space without negative consequences. SecureAire is the only company to deploy ACTIVE Particle Control.

What are the long-term effects of poor indoor air quality?

According to The World Health Organization (WHO) indoor air pollution causes nearly 1.6 million premature deaths every year. While more and more research on air pollution continues the link to Atherosclerosis, Asthma, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and Declining Cognitive Brain Function cannot be argued as negative long-term effects on human health.

Is SecureAire Technology Patented?

Yes, SecureAire’s Technology is patented with patents that are extremely strong. The company’s main patent was granted all 22 claims that were applied for and has the majority of its life remaining.

Why didn’t someone think of this before?

The Technology as it exists today took nearly 15 years to perfect and was due to a combination of experience, expertise and market knowledge. The products are now in form factors that are ready to be mass adopted by the public markets for the benefit of our collective health.

Can SecureAire Technology be applied to most applications?

SecureAire Technology comes in many different form factors and can be implemented in nearly all indoor air applications. Whether a hospital, office, laboratory, airport, university or your home, SecureAire has the ability to deployed in multiple zones and locations without significant expense.

Can SecureAire Technology Kill Airborne Pathogens?

Yes. The SecureAire Technology platform has the ability to kill or INACTIVATE any viable airborne pathogen that gets captured. Tested by a third-party test lab, SecureAire’s INACTIVATE Technology has been confirmed to kill some of the most dangerous pathogens found in the air.
