Emergency Rental assistance

Aim: In need of assistance with rent due to being on crime and victim leave of absence.

My name is Holly, and I am a single mom of 1. I am currently on crime and victim leave through my employer due to my daughter being sexually assaulted. The perpetrator is currently in jail and has been indicted on  the charges of rape 1st, sodomy 1st and sexual abuse 1st. We are currently waiting on grand jury trial to start. At this point it has been continued 5 times already. Due to her being a minor, I chose not to post her picture however I can provide any and all police reports, dr, diagnosis, mugshots/ charger etc if needed. In the mean time my daughter and I are left to pick up the pieces and cope with the life altering devastation that has had rippling effects through our daily lives. She is struggling with her mental health due to actions that were forced upon her. I am currently having to take time off for therapy appointments twice a week, in addition to her monthly psychiatrist appointments which has resulted in lost time from work as my crime and victim leave is used intermittently. I have had to stop going to my therapy appointments due to missed time and not having the funds. Currently I am needing rental assistance emergently. I have been juggling everything I can and barely being able to come up for air. Any donations will be used for rent only. As of July 1st I will be 2 months behind in rent plus late fees totaling $2375. We have also applied for crime and victim compensation but due to the red tape and slow process if will be at least 6 months before we see any reimbursement from that.
