Moving People and the World One Minute at a Time

Company Overview

FLASHFIT spontaneously brings people together and strives to improve the health and happiness of those who use our software application, by moving the world one minute at a time.

We target the increasing problem of sedentary behavior for kids, long hour desk workers, and older adults (sitting is the new cancer) by sending random notifications to custom communities throughout the day asking them to get up and move for 1 minute. The "flash notification" sends rich video content and music to the entire community at the same time with instructions and information about the move to be done. We capture the data on who uses it when, calories burned, location, sentiment, and demographics.

There is a $1B market for wellness and fitness software across the verticals we are initially targeting, a huge market push towards getting people moving to improve their health and a body of research showing that small amounts of movement are beneficial. The market is undeserved in the senior and middle market enterprise verticals and we believe kids knowing the platform will add significant long term value to the brand and company.

The Flash Platform is flexible and could be used to push increasingly useful content for mental health wellness, deeper healthcare activity content, media, first responder and any other call to action content.

MVP was launched Dec-Feb and the software is available in iOS, Android, and on the web. First customer vertical is K-12 schools, a 600 student pilot is going well and a grant we have issued providing services to 50 schools (30,000 kids) across the country will be deployed summer/fall 2018. Content for enterprise and older adults will be completed during Q2 and sales into the these vertical will commence then.
