Fellow Robots, located in Silicon Valley, was founded at NASA Research Park out of Singularity University. Fellow Robots has partnered with multiple Fortune 500 companies and large corporations (some undisclosed) in the US and Japan to deploy autonomous robot that can scan inventory in the stores as well to help customers, through speech, answer simple questions, locate items and navigate through stores. In Feb 2016, partnering with Yamada Denki and Nihon Unisys Ltd. in Japan, Fellow Robots launched its second generation autonomous robot called "NAVii".
In August 2016, Fellow Robots announced that Lowe's Home improvement will start rolling out multiple robots in all eleven stores in the San Francisco Bay Area (Silicon Valley).
Fellow Robots has a diversified team skilled in AI, robotics, software engineering, automation, design and retail, with extensive background and working experience in companies like IBM, Microsoft, BMW, Rolls Royce, HP, NASA, MINI, Groupon, Atmel and Motorola.
