How is DiversyFund different from other real estate crowdfunding sites?

- First we're a team of real estate and investment professionals that are using tech innovation to give average investors the chance to buy shares in institutional-grade real estate. Most of our competitors were started by tech guys trying to figure out real estate for the first time. Second, we are vertically-integrated, meaning instead of just acting as an online "broker" platform between investors and real estate developers, we run an automated online platform AND act as the real estate developer on all of the platform's offerings. This means we act as partners with our online customers/investors and are tied to the success of the deal vs just being a broker. This also allows us to charge zero fees at the platform level since we make our money at the project level as a developer.

What kind of real estate projects does DiversyFund focus on?

We focus on socially impactful projects in the Southern California markets where there is a significant housing shortage. These social impact categories include: affordable and high-density housing (such as our 58 unit multi-family and Pacific Beach developments), student housing (such as our 3 unit Linda Vista project), redevelopment of blighted/stranded projects (such as our La Jolla and Monterey projects) and neighborhood renewal (such as our Coronado project).
