Why We Started This Company
I started this company to return telecommunications to the commons...like water, power and emergency services. The privatization of this sector has not been good for the US and this can be seen by global broadband rankings. Additionally, we as a nation cannot rely on companies or governments to secure our privacy rights. Therefore, we propose a leap of improvement that will eliminate bottlenecks, guarantee trust, and not allow a ruling party to have a broadband kill switch on communications.
What Sets Us Apart
Trusted Security + Open Development + Migration Path = Blueprint to a Billion For the end user: any device will talk to any device...simultaneous multiple networks...mesh networks that get stronger as they get larger...a way forward for TV White Space & Internet of Things...50% savings in Data Center & Telecom Power (~3% of our national electric bill)...security built-in...A paradigm shift via Ensemble Computing “where the wisdom of groups still awaits us”. -Intel Tech Journal 06/10
Our Keys To Success
Data networks, Including the Internet, have no migration path to a future network architecture, and therefore cannot become the networks of tomorrow without Ether2's patented technology. When our network protocol is implemented on the communications chip of any network connected device, it will fix the problems in today’s data networks, offering pseudo-wire performance for rich media and bursty voice while providing a painless migration path with improved performance for today's devices.
