LSTN makes high quality, vintage inspired headphones made from reclaimed wood.
Pitch
LSTN (pronounced LISTEN) is a new music company that makes audio products out of reclaimed wood. For every pair of headphones sold, we help restore hearing for a child in a deaf school.
Campaign Goals
LSTN is a new social enterprise started by Bridget Hilton in the summer of 2012. The self-funded site LSTNheadphones.com launched on August 1, 2012 taking pre-orders. In September, LSTN was featured on the Today Show and MTV which were amazing opportunities for a month old company!
We are growing fast and need your help scaling and building on the momentum of our first few months. Our goal is to go to Kenya in early 2013 to see the work we are doing first hand. There we will create a video that will help us spread the message of LSTN to more consumers so we can grow our company and more importantly make a huge impact to people in need.
$6,000 - LSTN team will be able to go to Africa to see the work they are doing for the first time. A long form video will be made about the trip to show all of our amazing customers the impact they are making on the lives of many.
$10,000 - LSTN will be able to go to Africa and film our video + pay for new packaging for our earbuds and headphones.
$15,000 - LSTN will be able to go to Africa and film our video + pay for new packaging + help pay for manufacturing their first over ear, premium headphone.
