Why We Started This Company
Coming home late from Manhattan, co-founder Jonathan McKinney saw livery car service drivers unsuccessfully negotiate pick ups of potential customers off the street. He recognized an opportunity to automate the haggling process by implementing an auction-style environment that allows rider demand to be broadcast to a large provider network. And conversely, according to price, time and quality of service, riders would be presented with a greater variety of service providers options.
